UPS Teamsters will receive higher cost-of-living (COLA) wage increases on Aug. 1

In addition to general raises this year under our national master agreement, UPS Teamsters will receive higher cost-of-living (COLA) wage increases on Aug. 1, per Article 33 of the contract that protects Teamsters against rising inflation.

The 2026 COLA allowances of $0.22 per hour and 0.55 cents per mile for UPS Teamsters will be added to this year’s negotiated $1 per hour wage increases ratified in the 2023-2028 UPS Teamsters National Master Agreement. They will be added to scheduled raises as well for all mileage paid members, pushing single rate wage increases to 2.84 cents per miles, double rate to 2.89 cents per mile, and triple rate to 2.94 cents per mile.

“The historic general wage increases secured in the first year of our current national master agreement pulled UPS Teamsters significantly ahead of inflation, and the latest COLA increases will continue to give our members a strong buffer against the rising cost of living,” said Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien. “The robust COLA language that UPS Teamsters negotiated and ratified will keep drivers and warehouse workers protected for the life of the contract. With another strong wage increase of $2.25 per hour still to come for all UPS Teamsters next year, we are reminded of the power of collective bargaining and the urgency to continue to enforce every article of our record-setting agreement at UPS.”

The Teamsters Package Division is notifying all UPS locals of the COLA allowances nationwide.
